Women who drink 2-3 cups of coffee daily have less belly and body fat

The study, published in the journal The Journal of Nutrition, examined data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, which was organized by the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC). During the study, it was found that women between 20 and 44 years of age who consumed 2 to 3 cups of coffee daily had an obesity level of 3.4% less than those who did not consume coffee. At the same time, women between 45 and 69 years of age who drank 4 cups of coffee daily had a 4.1% reduction in obesity. Overall, women of all ages who consumed 2 to 3 cups of coffee daily showed an average decrease of 2.8 percent in total body fat percentages.
